I like the idea, but how do we pay for 100+ trillion dollars that we are currently on the hook for without massive inflation and/or massive increases in taxes?

South Africa, Brazil and even the US scare me.
Have no doubt, when the financial poo hits the fan, our government will nationalize our oil and gas and strategic mining interests.
When gasoline hit $20 per gallon, the same people responsible for the debasement of our currency will be screaming about the windfall profits of the resource companies.
In my opinion, only countries with a history of democracy and relatively small populations to take care of will prosper.
Canada, Australia and Norway come to mind.

I'm more of a limit poker guy. I'll stop by one of the area casinos and play 3/6 for three or four hours when I need to relax. I've found that any longer than four hours I lose my edge.
My son is a solid player too and he'll be 21 in a few months. I'm looking forward to playing with him at the casinos.

Since February, I've invested in Canadian currency, Australian currency, Brazilian currency, international resource producers and gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
If I had lived in the Depression, I would have stuffed my mattress with cash too, because the US was a net creditor to the world. The dollars buying power increased every day back then.
Today we need to keep our cash is vehicles which will maintain global purchasing power.
